Glenn Cherrie Managing Director
Glenn (top) joined Ward Group in 1977 after graduating from UNSW with a degree in civil engineering. In 1980 he was appointed Sydney Manager responsible for all the company's field operations and in 1986 he was appointed as Director of Construction. In 1988 Glenn was appointed as Managing Director, the position that he still holds today.
Glenn has also had a lengthy association with the Civil Contractors Federation. He held the position of National Board member from 1991 - 2001, serving as National President from 1995 to 1998. He also held the position of NSW Branch President from 2002 to 2007 and currently is a Board member of the NSW Branch. In 2008 he was awarded life membership of the Civil Contractors Federation.

Bob Stoddard Director, Construction
Bob (bottom left) joined the Company in 1985 as a Project Administrator and progressed through Project Management to Director. Bob has managed several significant projects for the Company including Ward's works in the restoration of Circular Quay. He was instrumental in developing the Company's original Business Management System and is responsible for Ward Group's Industrial Relations.

Steve Green Director, Construction
Steve (bottom right) recommenced with Ward in 1996 after earlier completing a Civil Engineering degree whilst working with Ward Group from 1987 through to 1991. During his time away from the company (1991 to 1995) he gained experience with both Tier 1 and small civil contractors working on a variety of road, bridge, communications and marine projects. Working as Project Manager from 1996 through to 2000, Steve was then made Construction Manager which is a role he still holds today.
During this time Steve has worked on all Ward Civil projects ranging from bulk excavations, shoring, detail excavation, marine, tunnels, concrete works, roadworks, bridges, airport pavements and other miscellaneous work. On these projects support and advice is provided to Project Managers, Project Engineers and Field Supervisors whilst liasing with clients to ensure their requirements are being met. Steve is also responsible for staff recruitment, Ward Plant, assisting with tender reviews and all matters pertaining on sites for safety, environmental and quality.

Wayne Wilson Director, Estimating
Wayne commenced with Ward as an estimator in 1986 after 15 years construction experience in roadworks, mining, concreting and the asphalt industry. In 1997 Wayne was appointed Associate Director and joined the Board as a Director in 2003. Wayne is responsible for Estimating and Marketing.

Graeme Aitken Associate Director, Construction
Graeme has been with the company since 1978 with in excess of 30 years local industry experience. Graeme has worked on an extensive range of Ward Civil Engineering projects specialising in the area of bulk and detail excavations. Graeme's vast experience provides assistance to the construction team and the estimating department when undertaking and pricing excavation works respectively. Graeme also manages the labour force for Ward Civil Engineering.

Scott Fraser Associate Director, Construction
Scott joined the company in 1996 as a Project Engineer. Scott has 16 years experience in the project management and engineering of civil, infrastructure and remediation sites. He has undertaken some of our more challenging projects including the Scot’s Church Project through which the company was awarded first place in the National Earth Awards for Construction Excellence. Scott’s strong background in project management allows him to now oversee our larger projects including the Boral Quarry Redevelopment at Greystanes.

Noel Storan Associate Director, Environment
Noel Storan joined the company in 1992 with as a qualified Civil Engineer who completed a Post Graduate Masters Degree in Environmental Management. He leads our Environmental Division and looks after our projects in Remediation of Contaminated Sites, Asbestos Remediation and Environmentally sensitive projects. Our projects include clean up of the Sydney Olympic Site, dis-used gas works sites, marine/ foreshore environments, brown field industrial developments and sensitive residential projects. Noel and his team are committed to working with clients to unlock asset value from contaminated sites.

Paul has been with the company since 2001.
