Boral Moorebank Retaining Wall

 

For the future development of the Moorebank Estate, a retaining wall was required on the boundary of the site to allow for the future construction of a local arterial road.

 

The scope of work includes:

 

- Dewatering two swamps and construction of coffer dam to allow wall to be constructed.

- Removal of unsuitable material and placement of 2,000m3 of imported bridging layer in swamp for wall foundation.

- Construction of over 2,000m2 of keystone retaining wall.

- Screen and crush 16,000m3 of shale for retaining wall zone backfill.

- Place and compact approximately 23,000m3 of select fill.
