Hangar 83 Domestic Apron Upgrade
Construction of a new parking area for aircraft, including the installation of new floodlights and control systems. Drainage works were also undertaken with the installation of a flame trap pit (3200Lx900Wx3600D) under SACL airside works conditions.
The scope of work includes:
- Compaction of the existing subgrade utilising a Marco roller.
- Installation of all drainage works and pit modifications.
- Placement of Bitac geotextile strips and AC over area within tight tolerances (3-5mm).
- Installation of new security fence delineating landside and airside.
- Linemarking of new AC parking area.
- Installation of new floodlights, replacement of existing light heads and installation of new control panels and switchboards.
- Landscaping works along the landside areas.
