Wingham WWTP Augmentation
Augmentation of an existing waste water treatment plant whilst in operation. The works included the construction of a new clarifying tank, sludge dewatering building, sludge tank and modification of an existing inlet works and bio reactor tank.
The scope of work includes:
- Bulk excavation for construction of clarifier and sludge tanks.
- Installation of soil nails and shotcrete spray during bulk excavation of sludge tank.
- Construction of 2 story building to house dewatering centrifuge and polydosing equipment.
- Installation of pumps, flow meters and control panels.
- Testing and commissioning of all pumps, flowmeters, diffused aeration system, SCADA control and clarifying tanks works.
- Extension of Inlet works, including diverting existing service and installation of new step screen and grit vortex paddle system.
- Installation of turf across the site.
