| Description |
The Contract involves the remediation of open space land at Rotary Park, Belmore Road North, Riverwood. The Remediation works includes;
- Demolition and disposal of existing picnic tables and shelters - Removal of fencing within the eastern portion of Rotary Park - Relocation and stockpiling of existing sandstone and marble blocks within the site - Excavation and stockpiling of any portions of the access road, turning bay, and lead impacted materials - Stripping, stockpiling of asbestos contaminated fill and transportation and tipping of excess asbestos contaminated materials - Hand excavation within a 5m radius tree protection zone - Excavation of underlying natural clays and stockpiling for use as VENM capping material and covering - Rehabilitation of the existing creek - Augmentation of the existing swale and pipes drainage in eastern end of the site - Placement of clean top soil and drainage materials over the capping in areas - Trimming and restoration of adjacent areas to suit the new work - All areas disturbed in the undertaking of works topdressed and turfed using kikuyu grass. |
