Ward Ground Engineering specialises in excavation face stabilisation systems. These systems include temporary or permanent ground anchors, soil nails, underpinning, grouting and shotcreting. Design and construction of site retention systems is the company’s specialty.
Ward Ground Engineering offers a range of ground anchors including the use of single and multi low-relaxation strand tendons, sand anchors, soil nails and rock bolts, up to 9,000kN capacity. The ground anchor range includes restressable, monitorable and non-restressable fully-grouted types.
The face stabilisation systems have been used with great success in ground conditions as diverse as fragmented sandstone, compacted sands, stiff clays, marine mud and fractured shale for retention systems and hold-down applications.
