The Village, Balgowlah
For the construction of the new Stockland shopping centre and apartment buildings called The Village, Balgowlah, the builder Abigroup engaged Ward to undertake all the civil works for the project.
The scope of work includes:
- Site Clearing including asbestos removal.
- Bulk Excavation (150,000m3 approx).
- Design and construction of the shoring systems including piles, anchors, rock bolts, soil nails and reinforced shotcrete walls.
- Sewer and stormwater diversions.
- Detailed excavation.
- Design and installation of foundation piers.
- Roadworks.
- Bulk Earthworks, excavation and construction of foundations and floor slab for the adjacent multi storey marketing suite.
