Overview: The project involves upgrading and widening of approximately 1.6km of the Great Western Highway in Mount Victoria village in the Blue Mountains.

Scope of works:

  • Removal of existing road infrastructure
  • Earthworks, stormwater drainage, subsurface drainage and pavement upgrade
  • Construction of 6 retaining walls
  • Relocation and protection of multiple utility assets
  • Local roads and access tracks reconstruction and property adjustments
  • Planting and maintenance of landscaping
  • Ancillary works including kerbs and gutters, footpaths, safety barriers, guide posts, pavement marking, signposting and vegetation
