Parramatta Light Rail Completion
Ward is pleased to have led the team that has successfully delivered the Parramatta Light Rail (PLR) Enabling Works project for Transport for New South Wales.
As Principal Contractor for the project we are particularly proud of the excellent safety, environmental and community outcomes achieved.
It is pleasing to note these challenging enabling works were completed on time in order to allow the main Parramatta Connect works to progress as planned.
We would take the opportunity to thank the entire project team including our client Transport for NSW, our partner Diona, designer GHD, subcontractors Nova Civil, Retro Traffic, Stone Will Landscaping, Complete ITS, Downer Asphalt, Ward Utilities and heritage consultant Artefact.
The Parramatta Light Rail will connect Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD and Camellia with a two-way track spanning 12 kilometres, and is expected to open in 2023.
Ward is proud to have played a key role in the delivery of this landmark project.
