Project Update
The junction between Simblist and Bumborah Point Roads at Port Botany was a busy place last weekend as Ward successfully completed the critical intersection pavement replacement works over a 46 hour continuous shift.
The works involved removal of the failed pavement, subgrade preparation and construction of the new pavement utilising high early strength concrete.
Work was carried out over the weekend to minimise the impact on NSW Ports tenants who rely on this intersection on a daily basis.
Well done to project team of John Gillan, Mark Colton, Stewart Hancock and George Callaghan for the careful planning, construction staging and delivery of the work under live traffic conditions on a rotating shift basis.
A special thanks to our selected subcontractors Chandos Traffic and NA Group for their support in delivering another quality job.
