International Women’s Day

Ward is delighted to announce its sponsorship of the UTS Women in Engineering and IT Cooperative Scholarship program aimed at increasing the participation and retention of young women in engineering and information technology.

This initiative is a cooperative education program between industry and UTS aimed at attracting, retaining and developing women in the fields of Engineering and IT. The scholarship identifies high achieving female students, that have a passion and interest to pursue a career in Engineering, and provides them with industry placements, mentoring and professional development opportunities with a number of industry participants including Ward.

With our own Julia Ward being one of the very few female CEOs in the civil industry, Ward is pleased to be taking a leading role in attracting capable young women into the field.
