Lending a helping hand with a Year 11 Geography project

A big thanks to Environment Manager Rowan Grace, Environment Co-ordinator Vanessa Zbinden Marín and the project team for allowing Year 11 student Tana O’Neill to visit the Macarthur Memorial Park site and chat about the impact of construction on the environment for his Year 11 Geography elective. Rowan and Vanessa spent time showing Tana the site and talking through the environmental impacts that have occurred from the early days of weeding the African Olive which was sent to the Zoo (to provide some of our herbivores a free feed) to some of the more recent measures taken to ensure a more sustainable project. We are told by Tana’s mum that anything less than a “B” is a fail! Thanks team!!!
