Parramatta Light Rail Stage 1 Enabling Works

We are excited to announce that the Diona Ward Joint Venture (“DWJV” comprising Diona Pty Ltd and Ward Civil & Environmental Engineering Pty Limited) will deliver the Enabling Works stage of the Parramatta Light Rail development.

Parramatta Light Rail program director Tim Poole said, “These enabling works are vital to keep the city moving and to minimise disruption for the people of Parramatta. These changes, while not directly along the Parramatta Light Rail route, will provide additional capacity and connections for everyone in the CBD before, during and after the light rail construction.”

Diona will undertake the relocation of extensive underground utilities while Ward completes the above-ground intersection upgrades, installation of traffic lights and changes to street lanes and parking.
