Overview: This project involved the rehabilitation of the Eastwood Shale Quarry, which required 880,000m³ of VENM fill to be imported and placed in order for the site to be developed into a 260 lot residential subdivision.

Scope of works:

• Sourcing appropriate fill materials to meet a stringent geotechnical and environmental specifications
• Ensuring the minimum delivery requirements are met each month whilst abiding by constricted DA regulations
• Excavating uncontrolled fill material; placing and compacting the approved materials until final design levels are reached
• Controlling noise, dust and stormwater run-off in the pit as well as managing all safety aspects within the works area
