Overview: To facilitate construction of the Sydney Light Rail project, Ward undertook the relocation of the existing vehicular accesses from High Street to several properties.

The project includes the construction of a new access lane branching off from Arthur Street to provide vehicular access to these properties from the rear. The lane was made 6m wide and approximately 65m long with an 8m wide, 45m long hammerhead arrangement. In addition to providing access for residents’ vehicles, the lane also provides access for waste collection trucks, removalist trucks, light commercial vehicles and pedestrians.
