Overview//
< BACKWard was involved in early works for the upgrade of Boundary Street and Pacific Highway. This was part of a larger Roads and Maritime Services project aimed at reducing delays, managing congestion and maintaining travel times on Sydney’s main roads, particularly during peak periods.
Scope of Works//
- Conduct dilapidation surveys
- Carry out geotechnical investigations
- Demolition of existing walls, fences, and clearing of trees
- Earthworks
- Construction of retaining walls, including piling, structural concrete, blockwork, brickwork and sandstone capping
- Build pavements
- Implementation of traffic management
- Modification of traffic signals
- Installation safety barriers
- Management of utilities, including identifying, relocating, and commissioning water, electrical, gas, and communications
- Landscaping
