Eastern Creek Precast Yard has been developed to support the construction of the proposed Sydney Metro West Tunnel which will connect Sydney Olympic Park to Westmead. The precast facility is located on Lenore Drive, Eastern Creek. Once completed, the factory will manufacture 60,000 precast concrete segments for the purpose of lining the Sydney Metro West tunnels.

Scope of Works//

  • 2,600m3 of concrete for factory floor slab
  • Utilities package including gas, stormwater, sewer, potable water, electrical, communications and NBN
  • 14,000m2 of rigid concrete pavement
  • 3,000m2 of fibre reinforced pavement
  • Concrete batching plant civil and structural elements
  • Cut of 8,000m3 of material and replacement with select fill
  • 1,500m of kerb
  • 1,000m of gantry crane footings and rail for precast tunnel segment storage yard
  • 3,000 tunnel lining storage plinths
