Overview//
< BACKThis project involved the redevelopment of a former brick manufacturing facility, which spanned 102ha and was designated for a residential subdivision containing 990 houses.
Scope of Works//
- Excavation of 460,000m3 of contaminated spoil
- Sorting, screening, and blending materials before re-compaction
- Build a temporary dam for water storage
- Sort and screen materials contaminated by bonded asbestos and implement bio-remediation of hydrocarbons
- Demolition and documentation of a historical kiln located on the site
- Conduct environmental testing, reporting, and validation reporting for audit sign-off
- Clear seven hectares of trees to enable the building of a new road
