Overview//
< BACKWard completed a large-scale excavation project within the Warringah Road alignment, removing soil to make way for additional road lanes and grade-separated intersections, for the new Northern Beaches Hospital development. Ward was engaged to manage a spoil disposal facility at Belrose, handle truck deliveries, and to place, compact and trim soil in controlled stockpiles.
Scope of Works//
- Deep and bulk excavation of 150,000m3 of material using road headers
- Site remediation and earthworks in clay/sandstone
- Installation of 3km of stormwater pipe drainage, 2.5km of groundwater pipe and 6km of subsoil drainage
