< BACKThe project involved site preparation for a new residential development in Newcastle, undertaken as a joint venture between Mirvac and Landcom.
Scope of Works//
- Bulk excavation and removal of 45,000m3 of sand, clay, and shale
- Removal of contaminated materials, including asbestos-contaminated materials, restricted, and general solid waste
- Installation of over 500 contiguous and soldier piles with capping beam
- Installation of approximately 300 temporary anchors, including walers and shotcrete
- Detailed excavation of crane base, lift pits and pad footings
- Installation of 105 structural piles, including core piles
- Temporary shoring to the existing site boundary
