Overview//
< BACKWard was engaged by John Holland to upgrade existing roads and footpaths surrounding the new Waterloo Metro Station, which is part of the Waterloo Integrated Station Development (ISD). The public domain works will support commuter movement and experience in and out of Waterloo Station. The works will be staged to minimise impact on existing communities and traffic and will require coordination with other building trades.
Scope of Works//
- Excavation and removal of existing pavements and kerbs
- Installation of new stormwater pipelines and pits
- Installation of kerbs, gutters, ramps and islands
- Construction of flexible and rigid pavements
- Line marking and road signage
- Upgrade of traffic signals
- Construction of garden beds
