Roads Australia: Planning for World Pride event

Today, Brian Mahon, Bella Shamal, Olivia, Ellen and Lily attended the inaugural Pride event hosted by Roads Australia and Arcadis.

The event was chaired by Roads Australia CEO Michael Kilgariff with a panel of Cindy Williams (National Sales Director – Mobility, Arcadis), Peter (PJ) Gahan (Director of Operations and Programming, Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras) and Tom Loomes (Executive Director – City Integration, Transport for NSW).

The focus of discussion was the impact of event planning on Roads and Streets, as well as the importance of bringing the parade back to Oxford Street in 2023.  There was a strong demonstration of commitment to diversity and inclusion, with a recognition of the growing shortage of talent within our industry. #diversityandinclusion #sydney #engineering
