TRIFR Success

We are committed to ensuring the health and safety of all people working on our sites and the people affected by our activities.  We do this via the implementation of effective systems and procedures, and by promoting a safe culture right across the business.

One of the key measurements we use to measure our performance is the Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate (TRIFR).  The TRIFR measures the number of all Lost Time Injuries and Medically Treated Injuries standardized over a period of 1,000,000 man hours.

According to Safe Work Australia statistics, the Industry average TRIFR in 2014 was 11.4 and as of March 2017, our TRIFR over a 12-month period was 2.6.  This fantastic result is indicative of our commitment to Health and Safety and our ultimate goal of “zero harm”.

Well done to our HSEQ team on such a pleasing result and to all of our sites who continue to promote and undertake safe work practices on a daily basis!
