Ward secures Transport for NSW F150 prequalification

WARD is pleased to announce its prequalified financial rating with Transport for NSW has been increased to F150.

This is an excellent achievement which has been driven by the ongoing growth and success of WARD, and the sound capital management decisions of WARD’s Board of Directors.

Although the prequalification rating system was developed by Transport for NSW, it is not just Transport for NSW projects which require specific prequalification. Broader Government projects are now using the Transport for NSW ratings system.

WARD’s CEO Julia Ward commented, “I am very proud of this prequalification from Transport for NSW. An increase in WARD’s financial rating to F150 further increases the breadth of projects and clients WARD can now tender and service. This gives WARD outstanding opportunities going forward, which will be embraced with enthusiasm by the business”.

“I also pay tribute to all the talented and hard-working WARD employees, who are the backbone of an achievement like this,” said Julia.

Established in 1973 as a civil and environmental engineering contractor, WARD continues to provide tailored services and value-add solutions to nurture the most complex projects to completion on time and on budget. WARD’s capabilities are extensive and multifaceted, including roads, airports, ports, pavements, utilities and bulk earthworks, as well as contamination remediation, marine and wastewater. WARD’s commitment to the environment, sustainability, diversity, inclusion and the safety of all people on its sites is paramount and acknowledged in the infrastructure sector.
